This home charging service is available in Visakhapatnam only. For other cities in Andhra Pradesh we take up commercial and public charging station works.
Apartments & flats
Charger point from your own meter to your parking slot, cable routing through the basement or stilt area, sub-meter option and a clean write-up for association approval.
Villas & gated communities
Neat concealed or conduit wiring from the panel to the porch or car park, weather-protected enclosure and dedicated MCB with RCCB protection.
Independent houses
Load check on your existing connection, dedicated charger circuit, proper earthing and a socket or wall-box mounted at the right height.
What the installation includes
- Free site check — parking distance, existing load and meter capacity
- Dedicated circuit with correct cable size (no extension cords, no loose sockets)
- MCB + 30 mA RCCB protection for shock and leakage safety
- Proper earthing / earth pit check for the charger point
- Weatherproof enclosure or wall-box mounting for outdoor parking
- Car (3.3 kW / 7.4 kW AC) and two-wheeler charging points
- Any charger make — MG, Tata, Hyundai, BYD, Ather, Ola, Bajaj and others
- Load enhancement paperwork with APEPDCL if your sanctioned load is short
Good to know: home and private chargers do not get a government capital subsidy. What you can get is the concessional EV charging tariff from your DISCOM. We explain the correct option for your meter during the site visit.
